Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Dough: Roll out the pizza dough onto a lightly floured surface, shaping it into small circles or rectangles about 4 to 6 inches in size depending on preferred pocket size.
  2. Add Sauce and Fillings: Spread a spoonful of marinara sauce evenly on half of each dough piece, being careful not to overfill. Top the sauce with shredded mozzarella cheese and your chosen toppings.
  3. Seal the Pockets: Fold the dough over the filling to form a pocket. Press edges firmly and crimp with a fork to seal tightly to prevent filling leakage during cooking.
  4. Brush with Olive Oil and Season: Lightly brush each pocket with olive oil for a golden crust. Sprinkle Italian seasoning or preferred herbs on top.
  5. Air Fry to Crisp Perfection: Place pockets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook at 380°F (193°C) for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cheese is melted inside.
